How
do we do it?
We
employ a regular, experienced team of hand filleters, graders
and packers to ensure the best handling of certain finished
products, including high grade fillets and portions for the
multiple retail sector. We have a full salmon processing line
including inline filleter, pin boners, skinner and a Marel
portioning machine. Secondary processing includes fish curing
which is processed through an AFOS smoking kiln capable of
21,000 kg of production per week. Freezing and vac-pac facilities
as well as controlled atmosphere packaging machinery, for
use in tray pack products. We have a fully integrated system
of quality control and auditing which is monitored and controlled
by a trained technical manager. These procedures produce a
consistently high grade of product and our recent move to
new premises has enabled us to attain BRC (British Retail
Consortium) accreditation. |
